Welcome to the Tan Project! In Japan, ‘-tan’  (:lang=”ja”>たん) is an affectionate honorific used almost exclusively for what is known as Mo:lang=”fr”>é anthropomorphism. In other words, cute anthropomorphic mascots of anything from operating systems to toys to food. The Tan Project is a series of P&PUE supers based around assorted mascots I have found over the years. These are minimalist creations, giving you a great deal of freedom when it comes to how to use them in your supers games. Enjoy!

The Character Tan Project contains 28 character sheets (23 Heroes and 5 villains) with point totals ranging from 75 to 225. The mascots range from the cosmic (the M87* black hole for example), to the mundane (a Magic 8 Ball), to the natural world (Honey Badger anyone?). While the background for each character is somewhat minimal, they are complete characters, ready for Game Masters to grab and go!
